This project celebrates timeless elegance and meticulous craftsmanship, showcasing an exquisite bolero jacket crafted using the revered haute couture techniques of the Flou. Designed for those who appreciate the artistry of luxury fashion.

The bolero jackets are made from luxurious, lightweight fabrics such as satin and silk, chosen for their silky sheen and graceful drape. The designs are accentuated with delicate details, including puffed sleeves that add a touch of romantic flair and tailored silhouettes that exude modern refinement. The jacket is fully lined, ensuring a flawless finish and a luxurious feel against the skin.

The construction process is a harmonious blend of traditional hand-sewing techniques and modern precision. The organza understructure is meticulously attached by machine and then finished by hand, ensuring no visible threads disrupt the garment's seamless appearance. This painstaking attention to detail is a hallmark of haute couture, where every stitch is purposeful, and every finish is perfected to the highest standard.

All the gathers on the sleeves or the shoulder are done by hand using a 3-line gathering technique for better precision.

Buttonhole

Organza is used as a second layer of the cuff to improve durability, and the buttonhole's braid is handmade.

Tulle

Tulle is fastened to the armhole, and organza is used by hand to finish the armhole and shoulder.

Lining

This garment piece has a lining, and I've added structure by using organza inside the lining.

Next

The gathers at the shoulder and cuff are meticulously crafted by hand, drawn together with three delicate threads to create soft volume and refined detail.
